Welcome

Covid-19

I am closed during lockdown following Government guidelines. I am currently taking bookings, you can book your sessions here.

Understandably you are worried about Covid-19, however if you wish to have your photo taken, while pregnant or with your baby, I want you to know I have taken the following precautions to make sure this can be done in a safe environment.

I am lucky to have a home studio with off street parking. This means you can travel here safely by car. Before you enter, I will ask all my clients to take off their shoes and clean their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub and I will do the same. I will also take everyone’s temperature, including my own on the day with an infrared forehead thermometer, which is non touch to make sure everyone’s temperature is below 37.8C. If not, I am afraid you will have to re-book your session after 14 days.

Before starting the shoot and during, if the shoot takes longer than an hour, I will also wash my hands with water and soap regularly and I will encourage you to do the same. If you wish to use your mobile phone while in the studio to check any messages, the device would need to be wiped clean first. I have alcohol based wipes for this.

I have decided to wear a mask at all times and can wear gloves upon request. And it goes without saying that I will not go ahead with a shoot, if me or any of my family members display any symptoms related to the Coronavirus.

In addition, I have decided to only see one client per day so that I can deep-clean AND disinfect the studio, door handles, props and anything else that may have been touched with an EPA approved disinfectant properly before the shoot and afterwards. Any blankets used will be washed as per normal.

I have always been vigilant in cleaning my studio as I deal with many newborn baby’s whose immune system hasn’t matured yet, but also photograph premature baby’s who are typically even more vulnerable. Seeing only one client in 24 hours will also allow me to circulate the air properly for which I will not only open windows but also us ventilating fans to increase air circulation in the studio.

Normally, I would like to offer my clients some water as well as coffee in tea. Unfortunately, this is not something I will be able to offer at this time, however I would encourage you to bring your own drink.

If you have any other question, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I look forward to seeing you very soon!
