Samantha from Sutton initially contacted me for a full set of 3D hand and foot casts for her baby boy Oliver. Having looked on my Tamaras Casts Facebook page she really like the frame to include a photo as well and so we booked a photo shoot in advance of the casting session.

Now Oliver surprised me completely, he was asleep when he arrived, so I quickly set up a newborn sleepy photography set in the hope he would stay asleep for at least a little bit. We decided not to undress him and after having taken some very cure sleepy baby photos of him dressed, I bravely decided to try and undress him.

Remarkably he pretty much stayed asleep and after a bit of soothing I was even able to gently position him into some sleepy newborn poses...amazing!

After the mini shoot we quickly moved on the creating a full set of 3D hand and foot cast. I then moved on to casting the impressions showing the very fine detail of Oliver's hands and feet.

Samantha had chosen a silver antique finish for her baby's casts and picked out a beautiful silver frame with a b&w photo of Oliver to compliment the overall tones. Her baby's hand and foot casts were ready for pick up 3 weeks later, which in time will become a precious keepsake and reminder of how little Oliver's hands and feet once were...
